We went here for a friend’s wedding. The venue was excellent. I’m looking forward to going back again for dinner
We were looking for something close and local when we found this place. It was definitely different than we expected but had a quaint home vibe that felt nice. I did wonder if there was a dress code after seeing others so I’d suggest maybe wearing your Sunday best at least. ;) The food though is what matters most - delicious. I ordered the Chicken Casarecce Pasta which was light and refreshing (without capers per request). My sister ordered the Trout Parmesan which was the best of the dishes - the fish was cooked to perfection and it was the largest fillet I’d seen in my life. My mother ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and she raved about it too! Their greens salad has a unique but great dressing that was worth a try. Also... the Brussels sprouts were top tier! We randomly shared a side on a whim and it was the best choice. I highly recommend them! The server and the server in training were very sweet and had appropriate timing. All in all, we were all impressed!
Clyde’s is our go to place in northern Virginia for good food and outstanding cocktails! The service is always top notch and the bartenders are fabulous. Drinks are a bit pricey but honestly they’re worth it! The bartenders here are experienced and take pride in their craft. On this visit we had the Faroe Island Salmon Salad. It is outstanding! Perfect blend of greens and toppings that were light and filling at the same time. We also added a side of onion rings, crispy and tasty! For cocktails we had a maple old fashioned and a dirty martini, perfection! Our bartender Sam makes the absolute best drinks but you’re in good hands no matter who is creating your cocktails. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing and always clean.
Went there for the Valentine's Day and picked 2 specials: Scalops with lentil and Filet mignon with shrimps. It was utterly excellent and delicious! Best dinner we had in a while. The deserts were supreme as well! The waiter was S-tier. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Service could be faster, but since it was Valentine's Day, the wait is understandable. Would come again for sure! Great place for American style dinner
Clyde's Willow Creek Farm is a favorite. Look forward to going back soon! Clyde's Willow Creek Farm is known for its blend of historic charm and modern American cuisine, housed in a beautifully restored farmhouse. It is a sprawling, rustic tavern with multiple dining rooms and four bars. The property was created by reassembling antique heavy timber buildings, such as barns, stables, homes, and taverns. Dining rooms feature original artwork, historic artifacts, and a collection of museum-quality 18th-century horse-drawn carriages. Live music is available on Friday and Saturday evenings, with a pianist in the Audubon Bar.
Had an an amazing dinner here. Ordered the half chicken with a side of Mac and cheese. Both were delicious. My friend got the crab cakes and onion rings. We loved the food. The staff were so friendly and the restaurant itself is such a fun venue. It’s a combination of several historic buildings that have been restored and put together to create a really great vibe.
The food was impeccable and so was our server. He recommended the deviled eggs as an appetizer (new appetizer as of 3/21/25) and it was a hit. We got a 2nd appetizer which was the crab and artichoke dip. It came hot and tasted great. It could’ve use a little seasoning for my taste but was still very delicious. He also recommended the pork chop which was extremely thick but very well cooked and not dry at all. I got the mushrooms as a side and the chimichurri on the side. The mushrooms were delicious. They were cooked with a thick gravy and topped with crunchy bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. We also got the 16oz ribeye which was flavorful and cooked perfectly.
Absolutely charming! The rustic decor and warm ambiance make this place perfect for a date night or family dinner. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended!
